I love this gym. I spent a couple of months in Bologna this year, once in the spring and then again starting in mid-September. I joined Performance Fitness Club during my first stay and liked it so much that I booked a few personal training sessions with Valerio.

When I returned to Bologna in September, I visited a few other gyms, not because I was unhappy with this one, but just to explore other options. In the end, I chose to come back to Performance Fitness Club, and I’m so glad I did. The staff welcomed me warmly again, and I had another great experience. I also booked more sessions with Valerio, who is truly an outstanding personal trainer. He’s friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and knows how to push me in just the right way to get the most out of every workout. In my opinion, he’s one of the gym’s greatest assets.

Outside of my sessions with Valerio, I usually trained in the evenings and always enjoyed the atmosphere (and music). The staff were consistently friendly and professional. The person who typically closes at night is especially welcoming, and a blonde woman who’s often there earlier in the day is equally great. I genuinely can’t think of a single negative interaction.

Highly recommend this gym.

Attenzione sul sito ci sono prezzi che non corrispondono, se vuoi un preventivo devi mandare il loro link pubblicitario a dei tuoi gruppi WhatsApp, per por avere un prezzo che dal sito non era chiaro e ovviamente molto diverso- Specchio per allodole. More than a gym it resembles a retirement home. There is no music until 9.00AM, nobody utters a word, and the few people who attend early in the morning seem resigned inmates rather than energetic, enthusiastic body builders. Part of this has to do with cumbersome opening hours, reluctance about using AC, no water fountain availability, and no music. The equipment is fine, it is just the overall atmosphere that is quite frankly depressing. Sure, Italy has one of the oldest populations on earth, but this is a relatively young crowd, and I am myself a senior citizen.

Frequento questa palestra da più di 10 anni posizione centrale ottima, ottimi istruttori per i corsi, da qualche anno vi è una nuova proprietà che ha innovato arredi e macchinari con relativo aumento dei costi tranne che nella sala corsi che è sempre stata molto piccola e poco arieggiata, attendiamo fiduciosi che anche li’ vengano effettuati i lavori che richiediamo da tempo.

Un po’ troppo costosa, ma ottima attrezzatura, pulita e ottima posizione. Punto a sfavore: il personale di sala è poco presente, anche su richiesta si avvicinano svogliatamente a chi a bisogno .. a quanto pare serve pagare un PT anche soltanto per aggiustare l’altezza di un macchinario

Buen gimnasio en pleno centro de Bolonia, el espacio está optimizado y muy bien equipado, hay una pequeña sauna también.
Entrenadores y equipo en general agradable, me informaron y tuvieron en cuenta mis preferencias, Gabri el chico de recepción muy paciente y servicial.
Empecé en este gimnasio por cercanía y porque vi una oferta de un mes gratuito, es cierto que luego tienes que pagar 49€ de matrícula pero te lo informan y tú decides.
Horarios amplios y vestuarios limpios!
Llevo poco tiempo pero desde que estoy he visto máquinas nuevas y renovación de material 👌🏼

Good gym, free weights, deadlift platform, squat racks, smith machine etc. I popped by (2pm on a Wednesday) for a day pass (casual) workout while staying four days in Bologna on a three-week trip in Italy. Staff were very nice and accomodating, as too were the other patrons. For US, UK, Aus etc. - expect things to be a bit different from your gym at home but that's the fun of being in another country. If you can't workout here, you can't workout.

Buona palestra. L'unica cosa che manca è un dispositivo Hip Thrust (che tutte le palestre abbastanza buone hanno già) e un dispositivo per l'arricciatura dei muscoli posteriori della coscia (da seduti). Tutto il resto eccellente. Il personale che ci lavora è molto cordiale.

Sono tanti anni che frequento la palestra; secondo me il bello è soprattutto un ambiente amichevole. Ci si allena seriamente ma c'è posto anche per le chiacchiere e le risate! Gli istruttori e i personal sono molto preparati e professionali, anche alla reception (Anna, Ach, Momo, Ilaria, ecc ) molto gentili e disponibili. Attrezzi ottimi e molti dischi con la possibilità di caricare molto. Come campo di miglioramento la pulizia ( non sempre impeccabile) e i pesi che spesso non vengono sistemati dai clienti.

Has the basics for my purposes which is for free weights. A good gym in central Bologna. Air conditioned. Clean. I only wanted one session and was quoted 19Euros hand written by the staff member on piece of note paper. As their card reader was not working I was asked for cash. The price reduced to 15Euros which was more reasonable, and that was before I or the staff member knew how much I had in my wallet. Luckily I had 15 Euros cash. The message? Watch what you’re charged as a non Italian speaker from New Zealand! Only 4 stars because of dealings at the counter. I am not judging but there were inconsistencies in the messaging to me as a client. I strongly suggest for transparency for clients and staff that a price list is available for clients and the staff are trained for their knowledge and client interaction. An official price list has been presented to me at other gyms whilst I’ve been holidaying in Europe since June. The staff member was apologetic about the situation which he handled as best as possible. His management needs to take responsibility. Experience Wednesday 23 August 2023 about 14h30.

5 stelle meritate per lo staff, ragazzi super gentili e professionali, ringrazio ash e Anna che sono persone davvero cordiali e disponibili. Palestra 70% old school, consiglierei alla proprietà di sostituire alcuni macchinari con le versioni più nuove, sicuramente si parla di pezzi di storia ma alcuni hanno spesso problemi. Da amante del settore però lascio le 5 stelle perché hanno il loro perché. Ambienti puliti e grazie al nuovo restauro molto più al passo con i tempi. Ancora complimenti allo staff

Great gym for visitors to Bologna. Friendly English-speaking staff. Surprisingly spacious workout area with lots of equipment (I just used the elliptical and free weights). Not crowded during off hours. Changing rooms are clean. Bring your own padlock for the lockers.

They gave me a free trial day pass. After that, a normal day pass was 19€, so it was cheaper to get a monthly pass since I was in Bologna 3 weeks. They were having a special with first month free and only charging the registration fee, so it was about 47€. There was no contract to cancel at the end; I just got the 10€ cash deposit back for the key fob used to sign in.

Well equipped gym in the city center. You can get a single entrance for 15 euro, so it's perfect if you're in Bologna for few days. They even have 3-day or weekly subscriptions. Highly recommended.

Palestra ben attrezzata, con zona cardio, spa, e pesi. Gli attrezzi sono tutti funzionanti e l'ambiente è piacevole. Offrono abbonamenti, anche settimanali, o ingressi singoli a 15 euro. Io ho scelto quest'ultima opzione, trovandomi a Bologna solo per alcuni giorni. La ragazza della reception mi ha mostrato le varie stanze e ha risposto a tutte le mie domande. Penso che ci tornerò presto!

Un lugar bien ubicado en centro, muy limpio la el personal excelente ! Para entrenar el mejor de Bologna lo recomiendo
