Voglio allenarmi. Adoro lo sport.

I came across this gym while jogging and wanted to do a trial day since I’m here on vacation and only have a couple days left in Lamezia Terme. So I went in and asked wether that was possible, the lady at the reception (Maria) was extremely welcoming and friendly and informed me that it was possible, but only under the condition that I would need a doctors certificate. Since I haven’t been a belt o find min and it most likely not being able to be accepted (since it’s in German) she was quick to make a couple phone calls and ask her friend wether I was able to just work out at their place. As expected (Italian hospitality is a real thing!) but yet still for me surprisingly her friends said yes and she(Maria) told me where I could go. Since it was quite a distance I asked her whether there was any bus connection etc. I could take since I just came from there (jogging-round about 4 km) and I was too exhausted to jog it again, work out and then jog back to my apartment (from the friend place to mine ca. 5km). She was quick to make another phone call and told me: “I can drive you.” Honestly I was perplexed since in Germany it’s close to impossible to see something like this happen, ever, thus I asked wether she was really 100% sure about this, since I’m a stranger from a foreign country. She assured me multiple times “yes” grabbed her keys and drove me to her friends place. On the way we talked a bit and I came to find out that she and her husband are the owners of the gym I’ve tried to work out at. All said and done she dropped me off, wished me a good day and I was able to work out after all..

Id like to express my deepest gratitude to you and tip my hat off to you signora Maria (unfortunately I didn’t get your last name)! That’s was a wonderful gesture and as I’ve told you I wish I could’ve spent my money on your gym! To anybody reading this: I know it seems surreal, that’s how it felt too, but seriously if you are considering finding a gym in Lamezia Terme you should 1. make your have a doctor’s certificate about your health and 2. go this gym because the hospitality off this lady goes unmatched. For real for real!

You’ve told me that you and your husband will be coming to Germany (in my area) soon, and if possible I’d like to return the favor. So if there is anything you need when coming over please feel free to contact me and I’d be happy to be looking out for you in any way I can as well!

Buona giornata e grazie mille!!!
