As we couldn't find any information online, we went directly to the gym and it appears that adults can climb only after 7pm (before is reserved for climbing courses).
Also, you need to take an insurance for accidents, which cost 48€ so not worthy if you are just wanting to climb during your stay...otherwise entrance is 6€, so interesting for local, not so much for foreigners. The gym looked small but nice :)

Palestra di arrampicata piccola ma ben organizzata. Prezzi buoni e molte opzioni di pagamento anche per chi non frequenta assiduamente (ci sono abbonamenti ma anche ingressi singoli). Generalmente non troppo affollato.

I am not mad, I am just disappointed. I arrived in Italy for a student exchange, believing that I would climb either at VV or at GAM on the mainland. For a few days after arriving, VV had a "temporarily closed" sign on Google, when I searched for them, but no explanation on their social media or on their website as to why that is. Then, the "temporarily closed" sign disappeared. I wrote an email, continuing with writing on Messenger, and another email, as there was not response over a few days. Finally, I received a reply to my second email stating to call them at a certain number, as they do not answer questions over email.

I did. I called them for two days in the morning and in the afternoon/evening, when they are supposed to be opened. Nothing. Finally, I decided to visit them in person to see what is going on. Imagine my surprise, when I arrived at the location and everything was locked while they were supposed to be opened. I notified them of my displeasure over email, as it takes about 45 minutes with vaporettos to get from my campus to the other side of the island. They replied, not apologising for being closed, but saying that they are opened between Monday and Friday during the times stated online. Fine, I will try my luck again. I went to the gym AGAIN a day after their reply, and colour me surprised - they were closed again. After a lot of commotion and asking people to help, since "they must be open, if they said so", two older ladies passing by informed me, that the gym is closed for two weeks due to staff vacations.

Again, let me implore upon you - nowhere online did they notifiy people that they are or will be closed, and the only concrete reply I received from them was, that they are in fact open. So I think the one star is more than justified due to their behaviour.

Palestra di arrampicata con pareti molto brevi, meglio per il boulder, resta sempre un valido metodo di allenamento
