This hotel is rated as a 4 star property but I would give it maximum 2 stars.

The building is old, the rooms are outdated, the air conditioning is very inefficient so our towels and swimsuits were always damp, the breakfast was the same old thing every day, no variety whatsoever. (Compared to Mercure in Larnaca which was wonderful, this was just sad) They only give you water bottles on the first day, when we asked housekeeping for more they said there would be no top ups (tap water is NOT potable so I don’t understand how this is possible in a ‘4 star’ establishment, ofc we went to a nearby Spar and bought bottled water for 50 cents, this is not about the water but about convenience and treating your guests right). Only paper cups in the room, no shampoo or conditioner in the shower, just hand soap??? Again, we had our own shampoo but my experience in other Mercure hotels was that they always provided Nyxe Rêve de Miel shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and hand soap, which was definitely not the case here.

I also got strange itchy bite marks (not prone to allergies) so not sure if there are bed bugs or just spiders, but it kept geting worse and worse to the point where I was completely covered in bite marks.

Staff was friendly and efficient (shoutout to the night auditor Mr. Marco who was super nice and helpful) but they don’t have much to work with in this old rundown hotel in desperate need of modernization.

Housekeeping lady took good care of us, we had to ask for a change of towels every single day because they simply wouldn’t dry in our damp room with poor air circulation. Hair dryer is sooo old and barely works, it took an hour to dry my hair so make sure to bring your own.

Pool area is nice but there are no umbrellas or natural shade so the guests are left to fry in the sun and they CHARGE 3€ to use their beach towels (cheap), again, we brought our own, but it just seems so cheap and unnecessary to charge the rooms as much as they do and then on top of it charge you for everything else.

Good thing is that the hotel is conveniently located, city center is at a walking distance, they have enough parking spaces for guest vehicles and they are pet friendly. Also there was the cutest little cat ever named Carlo chilling at the pool every night who made our stay (make sure to buy him a treat or two from the shop if you are a cat person like me!)

Pro tip for future guests: don’t book here, the value for money is bad!

Als wir dieses Hotel gebucht haben, waren wir von den Bildern überzeugt. Bereits als wir zum Hotel liefen, ist uns aufgefallen, dass es in einer sehr heruntergekommenen Gegend liegt. Wir haben uns erstmal etwas unsicher gefühlt. Als wir das Zimmer betraten fanden wir das Bett bzw. das Zimmer generell ganz okay. Es ist natürlich auch sehr altmodisch und nicht sehr sauber, aber zum übernachten ist es okay. Die Problematik liegt eher im Badezimmer. Die Dusche ist super Alt und verkalkt, ein mir unbekanntes Haar war dort zu finden und das Bad riecht verfault, da die Lüftung nicht richtig funktioniert. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte sehr gut, sie ist aber sehr laut.

Das Frühstück war sehr enttäuschend, da es eine Käsesorte und generell ein sehr armes Sortiment an Brotbelag gab. Man hatte nicht wirklich die Auswahl die man sich von einem 4 Sterne Hotel erhofft geschweige von der Mercure-Kette. Der Kaffee schmeckte katastrophal, man bemerke, wir sind in Italien! Ich verstehe nicht wieso Milch und Kaffee gezuckert sind…Das kann doch jeder selbst für sich entscheiden.
Der Pool wirkt so als würde er nicht gereinigt werden, jeden Tag fand man Dreck und Sand auf den Boden des Pools. Er roch unangenehm!
Am letzten Tag war mir sehr schlecht und ich musste mehrmals brechen, komischerweise geschah dies direkt nach dem Frühstück und dem Pool besuch.
Für eine Woche über 700€ zu bezahlen, ist sehr schade, wenn man diesen Service erhält.

Positiv ist die Lage zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, die einen schnell zum Flughafen oder Strand bringen. Auch war das Personal sehr freundlich, dennoch können sie natürlich nicht das Gebäude ändern oder verbessern.

Ho usufruito della sapiente e vigorosa manualità di Patrizia per massaggio decontratturante e plantare, con estremo beneficio. Alla reception sono stata indirizzata per il meglio da Stefano che contattato la mattina presto è riuscito ad accordarmi un appuntamento per il fine mattinata e affidandomi alla cure di Patrizia che ringrazio di cuore per la sua professionalità e gentilezza.

Reservamos el hotel con varios meses de antelación, con la condición de que tuviera 3 camas iguales, normales, no supletoria porque éramos 3 personas adultas, nos dijeron que no había ningún problema y al llegar al hotel nos encontramos con una cama supletoria, con algo fino pero que no era un colchón, y no se puede dormir.

Ei fú un 4 stelle, ma oggi con le tende bucate ed una "ristrutturazione" fatta a caso, stateci lontani, sopratutto se dovete riposare le membra per qualche ora. Cosa costerá utilizzare delle tende nuove e poco piú larghe della finestra?
Colazione vasta ma, ahimé, il caffé va bene se devi scappare in bagno, siamo in italia, vi prego, boicottate quelle macchinette all in one.

Acqua del rubinetto non potabile, non siamo stati avvisati all’arrivo in hotel ma ci siamo accorti di una piccola scritta, nascosta, sopra il lavandino con scritto non bere l’acqua dal lavandino
Ci è stato risposto che nel mini-frigo sono state incluse 2 bottigliette di acqua (1 litro in 2 persone per 3 giorni…)
Siamo stati male entrambi, bastava essere avvisati in reception appena arrivati e si sarebbe evitato tutto

Ottima giornata di relax nel salone di Lucy Hair Stylist, sono stata ieri pomeriggio al piano -1 dell’hotel, trattamento shampoo e massaggio alla cute rigenerante e colore con musica di sottofondo, sono molto soddisfatta, lei molto cordiale e gentile, consiglio vivamente per una giornata di relax e per rigenerare a pieno i vostri capelli.

El hotel normalito, las habitaciones grandes y bien preparadas, estaba limpio y nos cambiaron las toallas y todo lo necesario sin problemas.
Quizás algo viejo y descuidado algunos detalles, como por ejemplo el secador con cinta aislante o los enchufes que se salían.
El servicio tanto en la recepción como los camareros muy atentos, lo mejor del hotel.
El buffet normalito, había variedad pero poca cosa de cada cosa, aunque reponían continuamente, solo desayuno.
También hay un restaurante quizás algo caro pero la comida buenísima y de calidad, merece la pena cenar en el hotel una noche en la piscina.
Detrás del hotel hay una parada de autobús (creo que era el 10) que te lleva al aeropuerto por un euro con algo, no merece la pena coger un taxi que te clavan sesenta euros por lo menos.
También hay una pizzería en la calle de arriba que hacen unas pizzas buenísimas.
El aparcamiento era fácil, siempre encontrábamos por los alrededores.
En general, ha sido buena elección.
