Dankzij Piemonte Golf hebben we twee mooie golfdagen beleefd op twee totaal verschillende banen. Golf Club Asti is een verzorgde 9-holesbaan met goede faciliteiten, een driving range waar je vanaf gras kunt afslaan en een leuke afwisseling tussen lange en korte holes. Villa Carolina, waar wij de Paradiso Course speelden, biedt een heel andere ervaring: een uitdagende, heuvelachtige baan met snelle greens, strategische waterpartijen en fairways in uitstekende conditie. Beide banen waren uitstekend onderhouden en absoluut de moeite waard. Een aanrader voor iedere golfer die Piemonte bezoekt.

The course is in fairly good shape. The greens were very well maintained. The rental clubs are an absolute joke. You get like 3 drivers all broken from the late 90’s. 2 seven irons, and a mess of non matching clubs that all look like they were found on the course. For a resort it was really disappointing, and I would not rent clubs from them again. It really ruined the round of golf for me and it is not cheap to play there. I brought my father in law, wife and daughter with me for a round, and we could barely put together a working set between all of us. If you have an early morning tee time the pro shop doesn’t open until 8:30/9. So if you are a traveler looking to sneak in a round with rental clubs and purchased balls, good luck.

Tolle 36-Loch. Der Marches (18L) lässt sich sehr gut zu Fuss spielen und ist ein ausgezeichneter Parkland-Course. Anfang Mai 26 in sehr gutem Pflegezustand. Greens noch etwas langsam aber gut und jeden Tag etwas schneller. Paradiso (18L) sehr spannendes Layout. Cart eher zu empfehlen, da einige Höhenunterschiede und langer Weg zwischen Loch 9 und 10. Ausgesprochen freundlicher Empfang und ganz besonders die Caddy-Master, wirklich top Service und immer fröhlich. Wir fühlten uns als Besucher sehr willkommen. Allen zu empfehlen die italienische Gastfreundschaft und unaufdringliche Qualität zu schätzen wissen. Wer in der nächsten Umgebung eine spezielle Unterkunft sucht, sollte umbedingt die Villa Raggi in Betracht ziehen, uns hat es sehr gafallen.
