Review in English for people visiting from abroad:

While visiting for a month, I trained at Grindhouse. Everyone was very welcoming, and it only took a couple of sessions for me to feel part of the team.

The head coach, Roberto, has a super interesting game in the gi and a very methodical way of explaining things, which makes the language barrier a non-issue.

There are both morning and evening classes, in both gi and no-gi, all of which are a ton of fun.

Roberto is as great a person off the mat as he is on the mats. One day, I got into a (small) car accident on the way to the gym, and he did not hesitate to drop everything just before class to come and help me sort everything out with the paperwork, making sure I wouldn’t be taken advantage of in this situation. This was such a genuine and wholesome moment that speaks volumes to the kind of person he is.

I dropped in to a lot of places while traveling, and this is one of the best experiences I’ve had. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to go train with the guys at Grindhouse if they’re in the area.

Thanks to everyone who made me feel welcome there, and a special thank you to Roberto. I’m already looking forward to the next time I’ll be in the region to go back.

Mi sono allenato in questa palestra durante il mese di agosto. Nonostante arrivassi da un'altra palestra di Brazilian Jiu Jitsu e fossi giù solo per le vacanze, mi hanno accolto benissimo e mi hanno fatto sentire a casa. Roberto è un maestro super preparato e molto disponibile. L'ambiente della palestra riflette questa sua impostazione. Super consigliato! A presto!
