I passed by Sorrento for 4 days (holidays) and did not want to miss training. After searching, I found Box 173 Studio, and it was amazing!

Vincenzo, the owner, was great from the get go. I contacted him via WhatsApp and he answered very quickly. I was able to train 4 days in a row, with full access to all the equipment! He was very kind and always made room for me to train, despiste the classes.

This is a great place if you want to do some weightlifting, powerlifting, crossfit, functional training or just do some excersice.

It is very close to Sorrento’s “touristic downtown” and you can walk there!

In summary: it is a no brainer if you stop by Sorrento and want to train.

Congrats Vincenzo for a great gym!

Per me la palestra a volte può risultare scomoda e causa di ansie, ma da boxe 173 mi sento estremamente a mio agio. L'ambiente è amichevole e accogliente, e il PT mette molta cura in tutto ciò che fa - ha creato davvero qualcosa di bello.

Fantastic place. Had a great time working out there while on holiday.
It was a 15 minute ride from where I was staying, located on a main street in sorrento.
Extremely nice owners, would most definitely recommend to anyone involved in the fitness world.

I dropped into box 173 and Vinni was a legend,
We ended up training together and he made me feel very comfortable and we had heaps of fun, took my son back to train also and he was very welcoming.
Very knowledgeable and gave my son & I lots of time and tips when we were training.
Drop in price very reasonable @$10 euro, just message him via instagram to make a booking, he responded very promptly!!!!!

Wonderful gym with wonderful people!
I had the pleasure of training at Box173 while visiting from the United States for 2 months. This is a very special place, with an amazing community. From day one I was warmly welcomed and made to feel like part of the crew. The owner and trainer Vincenzo is friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He kept me smiling during even the toughest workouts! He also gave excellent feedback that was new and helpful to me even as someone who has been working out for many years.

If you're looking for a great workout in a well-equipped gym filled with kind people, look no farther than Box173! I'm going to miss this place when I return home.

Box173 is by far the best gym in town and Vincenzo, the owner, is a knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy PT. He'll always make sure you'll get the best out your session. Every time I come back to Sorrento, this is the best place to go training.

Nato e cresciuto a Sant' Agnello, vivo all estero, ma il primo pensiero che ho prima di ritornare ogni volta in penisola é quello di andare ad allenarmi al Box. Bellissimo ambiente, Vincenzo é un vero professionista e motivatore, penso di non aver mai visto nessuno con la sua passione e professionalità. Non c'è cosa più bella di avere le gambe distrutte dopo una bella sessione di squat al Box. TIME TO DO SOMENTHING M*********R!!!

Amazing environment for group training!
The owner is an extremely kind and nice man, and the vibe of the gym is excellent and friendly
The gym is just off the main road. This gym/studio is for individual coaching and group sessions primarily. If you are on holiday, then message the instagram page of this group in advance, and the owner can try and fit you in certain hours.

There is powerlifting equipment here, squat racks, IPF spec benches, brands, dumbbells, iron and calibrated plates, deadlift platform, toilets, big fan, good barbells

I’m super happy that I came here to train during my holiday!

Lovely spot! Especially great if you’re into functional strength and/or powerlifting. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable as well, and went out of his way to make sure we were getting the most out of our session. Only thing is that it’s a bit cramped and there aren’t a lot of options if you’re more into bodybuilding. Their day passes are 10€ and thus more affordable than their local competition.

Great gym and owner is so friendly. We dropped in while we stayed in Sorrento and we basically had the gym to ourselves. Great drop in price of 10e. Fantastic selection of good quality weights, dumbbells, bands, and an assault bike and much more. Highly recommend for a great workout!
