We believe the jet 2 site is very poor in describing the rooms, once we moved we were happy, not happy for paying extra for what I had initially expected.

Had an incredible stay for 10 days with my boyfriend recently. The hotel is lovely and in an amazing location with a great view. It was slightly above the town so a little less hot which was nice.

The staff were what made the trip- they were all so welcoming and kind. In particular, the head waiter (I think he was called Irene matteo?) and the blonde waitress who worked breakfast/ lunch were both brilliant, they went above and beyond and really got to know us and our preferences. The reception staff were nice - Maitre and Vincenzo were especially helpful and kind. The bar staff were also brilliant- the young man who worked at the pool bar was really nice and would bring the cocktails to us in the pool etc which was nice, rather than us going up to the bar.

The food and drinks were lovely and was a pleasure to eat there. They also had a live pianist one day which was really nice.

Only slight down side is the fact it is a bit of a walk to town- we were aware of this but worth factoring in in the heat as you do need taxis. The taxis were 20eur each way to town which is quite expensive for a 5 min drive, and were charged 25eur for a 5 min drive to the station (3 min drive). however, when we found our own local service, it was only 10euros to town- so I’d recommend sourcing this yourself, as this can became costly over 10 days. The beach shuttle was great.

The private beach was really lovely and meant we could avoid the crowded beaches nearby.

Only other thing I’d say, which might have been our misunderstanding, but we thought the hotel offered yoga. When we asked, they booked us in but it was at the sister hotel, and cost us 80eur in total due to the fact they don’t run the shuttle there in time for the class, and the class is 20eur each (which wasn’t clearly displayed on the ad). When we turned up for the 8am class, we asked if we could have our breakfast there as it is the same menu / same buffet hotel and we wouldn’t get back in time for ours. We would have been happy to pay a small surplus but 35eurs each was too much for the same food, that we had already paid for. Appreciate this may have been our misunderstanding, but some feedback could be to offer this for a small surcharge and include the shuttle, as we would have gone everyday. That being said, the class was great!

Overall, our stay was wonderful. The few points I made are constructive criticism rather than complaints- everything was genuinely amazing and the staff were so lovely. I would definitely return here if I come to Sicily again and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely, relaxing week at this hotel and would happily recommend it. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lovely pool area that never felt too crowded, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay.

The hotel is around a 25-minute walk into the town with no nearby supermarket, shop, cafe etc. The walk back is uphill and quite steep in places. During our stay, temperatures were in the mid-30s°C, which definitely made the walk more challenging in the heat, but we didn’t mind too much—it helped work off all the delicious food we enjoyed during our holiday!

The free shuttle bus to the hotel’s private beach is good and ran regularly. We often took the shuttle to the beach and then walked into the main town from there. Guests have access to free sun loungers on the beach, and there’s also a beach bar serving food and drinks, which was really convenient.

The only minor issue we experienced was some noise one evening from chairs being scraped across the floor in the bar area. We mentioned it to reception, and the staff were extremely apologetic and offered a complimentary drink, which we thought was a lovely gesture and showed how much they care about their guests’ experience.

Overall, we had a fantastic, relaxing stay and would definitely return.

Had a fantastic stay here with our two children. The pool is unbelievable, as well as the food, and the whole staff is attentive. We booked this place because we knew it was going to be hot and wanted a "mini paradise" where the kids can stay cool away from the hot beach. It was a perfect choice and I would definitely book again if we happen to make it back to Sicily.

Our honeymoon at Alberi del Paradiso was just perfect. Matteo, Vincenzo, Antonio, Marco and the whole team were amazing. This hotel is 4 stars but really should be 5. Our room was beautiful and quiet, the pool and bar are very peaceful and the small private beach was a perfect alternative and a short walk or shuttle bus away. The food at Al Capone was fantastic and the old town is also a short walk away and it’s impossible not to find a great view, glass of wine and a brilliant meal. We’ll be coming back! Thanks guys.

A fabulous hotel. Service was wonderful, the view from our room was mesmerising - a view of Cefalu, the Cathedral, the rock and sea. Absolutely loved the pool, could have spent all day there. The air con in the room was needed and good. Location was good, bit of a hill climb so be prepared at night but worth the views. Irene was amazing at providing top tips - great restaurants, bars and trips. Oh. And the private beach! Amazing. Would love to still be staying here!
