We stayed at Hotel Apollon Club Thermal & Spa during our trip to Ischia. The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning sea views, direct beach access, and a great variety of hot and cold thermal pools. The room was cleaned well every day, had excellent water pressure, and the reception staff were very helpful with ferry logistics, restaurant reservations, and transportation. The restaurant was also good and reasonably priced for the island.

Unfortunately, the experience did not justify the $600–650 per night price. The resort feels run down, and our bathroom had several maintenance issues, including a shower door that leaked water all over the floor and a bathroom door that scraped the tile and barely closed.

The biggest disappointment was the pool staff. We were scolded for requesting extra towels after they had run out the previous day, yet obvious hygiene issues—such as babies being naked in the pools, diapers being removed poolside, and a child with diarrhea being changed in the bathroom sink—did not seem to concern either the lifeguard or reception. Their priorities were very disappointing.

Breakfast was underwhelming, with a limited selection and food and utensils frequently not restocked. Charging extra for coffee pods in the room also felt cheap for a luxury resort. The gym has damaged equipment, the pools close at 6 PM, and the resort photos make the property appear much newer than it is.

One tip: use the free shuttle to the sister hotel and walk one minute into Sant’Angelo instead of paying for the golf cart. Also, double-check your bill—we found charges for items we didn’t order, although reception corrected them immediately.

Overall, the location is spectacular, but the service, maintenance, and amenities do not match the premium price. With better upkeep and more consistent management, this could be an outstanding resort.

Anche io ho soggiornato 2 giorni fa per un weekend.Quello lamentato dagli altri ospiti e'assolutamente vero .hotel non all' altezza del 4 stelle e del prezzo pagato .Le camere assolutamente non adeguate con il bagno ancora meno situate a 200 metri dalla struttura in mezzo a dei piccoli cantieri che deturpavano la vista .Personale gentile

We got the room with terrace and sea view.
Room is nice and clean but for the price we were expecting something more like dirt separating bathroom and bedroom, tea and cups, napkins in the bathroom, full dark blinds.
Pools are clean and nice but sea itself was not special.
Breakfast was very low quality and both bars and restaurant inside was way too expensive for the quality offered.
Location is beautiful but not isolated. To get there there is only a hilly pedestrian path and for the price they have they should guarantee a golf cart at least for check in and checkout.
So, nice view but no worth the cost.

I booked this hotel based on the information on some other sites and didn't check Google reviews until after. I was very worried I made a mistake due to many of the bad reviews.

I was very pleased with my stay and can't suggest it enough. Our room was recently rennovated with a wonderful view, the private beach and thermal club were fantastic, and the view of every point in the hotel was fantastic. Sant angelo Is a ten minute walk up hill and close by, especially with the shuttle to their sister hotel closer to the town. It was a romantic vibe with a mostly couples and families with young children. Overall I'd say it was a good value on top of it all. The prices for food and drinks are also pretty similar to the rest of the area. If you're looking for a romantic place to relax it is great.

Lunch is available and dinner can be had using the shuttle to their other hotel nearby. Both were quite good and reasonable compared with the area. Breakfast is included but pretty average for most Italian hotels.

Although it's not a top end hotel, I do feel some things could be made better which is why I gave it four stars

-The private beach, thermal baths and bar close at 18:00 even in the peak of summer. I get staffing is expensive, but given the fact it's resort style, it's kind of dissapointing to not even be able to get a proper aperitivo in and you're kind of stuck in your room or going to the town/sister hotel for dinner beyond that. On your check in day you basically have three hours of use.
-I feel they could better communicate how the transit works before getting there. The hotel is a 20 minute walk up and down a hill and we didn't get any explanation prior to arriving about the transit services they offer. They include a free golf cart to and from the middle of the city, but the one to the bus/taxi is 4€ per person and run by another company. Not the worst, but I feel it would be nice if this was covered at least for check in and out.
-Given the isolation of the hotel and rooms, it would be nice if they just tacked on a free mini bar for the price, especially since the fridge basically comes with coke, water, and beer, a bit average for this level of hotel and the type.

A lovely location, quiet and secluded. The staff are very friendly and a great breakfast offering. The hotel benefits from a great selection of thermal pool and private beach entrance. The surrounding area does look a bit tired and we were unfortunate to have a room looking directly and an abandoned hotel. The beds were large and very comfortable. Be aware that access to the hotel is by walking or via one of the gold cart taxis on offer as it is in a pedestrian friendly area.

Un angolo di paradiso e benessere assoluto – Ospitalità e relax ai massimi livelli!
Abbiam soggiornato all'Hotel Apollon Club Thermal & Spa e posso confermare che la realtà supera di gran lunga le già splendide aspettative. Questa struttura non è un semplice hotel, ma un'oasi di pace e rigenerazione totale nella meravigliosa cornice di Sant'Angelo.

La location è semplicemente spettacolare: incastonata nella roccia, con affacci da cartolina sul mare cristallino. L'atmosfera che si respira è di assoluta tranquillità ed esclusività, ideale per staccare completamente dal caos quotidiano. Ogni dettaglio, dai giardini curatissimi agli spazi comuni, è curato nei minimi dettagli.

A fare davvero la differenza in questo hotel è l'accoglienza e la qualità del servizio. Tutto lo staff si è dimostrato straordinariamente caloroso e professionale. In particolare, un plauso va a Franca, Christian, Nello, Ylenia, Federica e la direttrice Daria che con la loro straordinaria gentilezza, professionalità e attenzione ai dettagli hanno reso ogni nostra giornata un momento speciale, facendoci sentire costantemente coccolati.
Un'esperienza magnifica che consiglio a chiunque cerchi il meglio in termini di relax e ospitalità in un contesto da sogno. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

Navštívili jsme tento hotel na přelomu září a října. Hotel je na nádherném místě a jeho součástí je termální park se spoustou bazénů. Služby v termálním parku fungují velmi dobře.Pokoje hotelu začínají být docela vybydlené. Vzhledem k tomu, že hotel má 4 hvězdy, většina pokojů tomuto standardu vůbec neodpovídá. Některé pokoje mají rozbité sprchové kouty, chybí u nich například dveře, což komplikuje sprchování, netěsní toaleta, takže po spláchnutí je v koupelně potopa. Po příjezdu jsme reklamovali pokoj celkem 2x, než nás přestěhovali do pokoje, který vyhovoval alespoň částečně tomu, co hotel deklaruje na svých stránkách. Úklid na pokojích byl velmi dobrý.Restaurace je pěkná čistá s krásným výhledem na moře. Obsluha byla velmi ochotná. Měli jsme polopenzi. Snídaně byli na hotel s 4* velmi skromné oproti jiným hotelům se stejným počtem hvězd. Byl znát konec sezóny, restauraci začali postupně docházet některé nápoje, jako je víno a pivo. Z místa pobytu mám rozporuplné pocity, zklamání z ubytování, vyvažuje umístění hotelu a perfektně udržovaný termální park.

Sono stata in questo hotel il 22 agosto 25 ho prenotato una camera prestige bellissima comoda ad un costo importante....arrivati li invece mi viene Data una camera fatiscente senza capire il motivo....nell attesa di una spiegazione mi faccio un giro dentro l hotel dove trovo gli alloggi che avevo scelto e prenotato che in effetti corrispondevano alle foto sul sito...ritorno alla reception e chiedo nuovamente spiegazioni mi rispondono che di loro iniziativa mi viene data un altra camera che per loro è tipologia suite...io resto basita chiedo su quale base hanno deciso questo cambiamento e sostanzialmente non rispondevano restavano in silenzio o deviavano il discorso....alla fine alla reception si arrendono e parlo con il pseudo direttore uno .... di prima categoria che si diverte con eleganza a prendere in giro gli ospiti mettendo su questo giochetto perché le stanze erano disponibili le ho viste io personalmente ma ti gira di sua iniziativa un altra camera bruttissima buia con poco valore economico facendoti credere di assegnartene una migliore MA QUANDO MAI.....dopo diversi minuti di chiacchere ha ammesso di non avere la camera che avevamo prenotato, senza motivazioni concreta e siamo andati via alle ore 21 senza meta con due bambine .....gliene ho dette di tutti i colori da buon siciliano che si deve vergognare ecc ecc ....ho chiesto ovviamente il rimborso in maniera vivace di farlo già l indomani mattina....e per concludere il personale lo sentivo parlare sottovoce che questa situazione non era nuova per loro ed erano disgustati quanto noi ....ce ne siamo andati con la gratificazione dalla reception che alla fine stanchi ed esausti ci ha dato ragione

Do 4 stelle alla posizione perché il panorama è bellissimo suggestivo tipico di Ischia un paradiso che per colpa di persone come questo .... può restare un brutto ricordo

Sono stato una giornata in questa struttura, posto bellissimo, totale relax , punto mRe molto bello , a mio parere uno dei più belli dell’isola, piscine pulite , abbiamo mangiato una zingara nella zona alta della struttura , costo 11€ molto buona .

Dopo un periodo stressante a causa trasloco siamo venuti all'hotel Apollon a rilassarci, ed è stato proprio ciò di cui avevamo bisogno.
Il personale attento, gentile e simpatico, il cibo eccezionale. Una grande varietà di piscine con acque termali di temperature e panorami differenti.
Siamo usciti distesi, rilassati e ricaricati.

albergo pessimo servizio altrettanto….
dopo aver prenotato una camera superior come da foto sito …ci hanno dato una camera fatiscente sporca e con una puzza assurda…in bagno c’era un verme a terra il lavandino era otturato il condizionatore appena acceso gocciolava…la vaschetta dello scarico del bagno perdeva acqua e se stavi lì ti gocciolava addosso.andiamo alla reception e ci dicono che per loro era una superior gli facciamo vedere le foto del sito e la risposta è: mica possiamo mettere 60 foto, pretendiamo di parlare con il direttore che ci dice che purtroppo sono pieni e non possono cambiarci stanza…il giorno dopo decidiamo di lasciare la struttura con un giorno di anticipo e loro non contenti della figuraccia ci fanno pagare una superior senza nemmeno scontare il prezzo come una camera classic…senza contare della scomodità per aspettare una navetta che ti porti al centro di sant’angelo che non si trova mai .non ci andate perché sono albergatori improvvisati
