My family and I recently stayed at Miramare for a week, and we genuinely don’t have a bad thing to say about our experience. Firstly, the facilities are excellent, the views are beautiful, and the overall standard of the hotel is exceptional. Everything has clearly been thought through to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We were also incredibly impressed by the service across every department, but in particular, the waiting staff. We were looked after especially well by the amazing Keimer and Gabriele, who were both absolutely lovely throughout our stay. They went above and beyond, not just to provide fantastic service, but also to get to know us and form a genuine bond with our family. That personal touch made such a difference, and we really appreciated how much care and attention they gave us. It made our holiday so much more memorable!

I would particularly recommend having dinner at the hotel. The level of care and attention from the staff makes the experience feel incredibly personal and special, and the food itself is excellent.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere truly special. We will definitely be returning!

Overall great hotel for a small town! Rooms were modern and clean with nice showers, comfortable beds, and great views, and a coffee maker. Breakfast had Great options it was a buffet-style with option to order eggs. Location is that of any hotel in the area. There’s no cars on allowed in town. Some negatives. Walls are paper thin HIGLY recommend asking for a room on the 3rd floor. We constantly heard people in the hallway, above us, etc. especially the girl who constantly came back to her room above us at 2am and walked around in her heels for 30 mins! I did have a higher expectation for a “5” star resort in terms
Of getting to the hotel. There is no hotel transport from the car parking area. U have to hire and pay. Upon leaving it took over 20 mins to arrange help with luggage back to the garage ended having to walk not to miss our ferry bc it took so long. Plan accordingly. Hopefully they can work on this to provide 5 stars from arrival and departure not just during the stay.

*Safety Issue - The room keys open every guest room in the hotel. All the locks are the same*
We accidentally opened the door of the adjacent room and then realized our room key opened every door on our floor. We went down to the floor below us and ran into a guest and asked if we could try our key in his door.. it opened. Then we tried his key in our door etc.
I was horrified. This is a major safety issue.
I informed the manager and he brushed it off and said he would look into it. They clearly know that there is one master key for all of the rooms.
I love this hotel but I can’t stay somewhere that myself and my belongings aren’t safe.
It’s a shame because the staff is lovely and the location is great

Il Miramare e l’Apollon sono molto più di un hotel: sono una vera esperienza. La struttura si sviluppa lungo la costa della splendida baia di Sant’Angelo e, nonostante sia molto estesa, è curata in ogni dettaglio. Viottoli immersi nel verde, terrazze, piscine, terme, spiaggia e scorci continui sul mare color smeraldo.
La nostra suite era elegantissima, molto pulita, silenziosa e arredata con grande gusto. Aveva una terrazza piena di fiori, affacciata sul golfo, ventilata e piacevolmente ombreggiata nel pomeriggio. Letto comodissimo e aria condizionata perfetta.
Una menzione speciale merita il parco termale: piscine di acqua termale, dolce e marina e un percorso davvero piacevole. Nel nostro caso, dopo i bagni termali abbiamo notato immediatamente la pelle molto più morbida e vellutata e anche alcune irritazioni che avevamo si sono notevolmente attenuate. Una sensazione bellissima.
All’Apollon il servizio navetta rende semplicissimo spostarsi all’interno della struttura, mentre gli ascensori conducono fino al Miramare e alla sua meravigliosa terrazza. Cenare lì è qualcosa che difficilmente si dimentica: il mare sembra infrangersi quasi sotto il tavolo. Cucina eccellente, pesce freschissimo e piatti di grande livello.
Il personale è uno dei punti di forza. Direttore eccezionale, maître estremamente professionale e uno staff caratterizzato da garbo, precisione, gentilezza e autentica attenzione verso l’ospite.
Dal Miramare si esce praticamente direttamente nella piazzetta di Sant’Angelo, piena di ristoranti, locali, musica e vita serale. A pochi passi c’è anche il porticciolo, dove abbiamo noleggiato un gozzo per fare il giro dell’isola.
È un luogo che consiglierei a coppie, famiglie, single e a chiunque ami il mare, le terme, la buona cucina e un servizio di livello. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo, considerando posizione, servizi e qualità complessiva, per noi è assolutamente adeguato. Si parte con la sensazione di non aver ancora scoperto tutto

We absolutely loved this place! The location is fantastic, with beautiful views and a wonderful atmosphere. The interior is elegant and stylish, and the rooms are comfortable and beautifully designed.

In the evenings, there is live music, which creates a truly special ambiance. The cocktails were outstanding — the Bellini was one of the best we’ve ever had.

Considering the quality, the prices were very reasonable compared to similar places in the city. We were extremely happy with our experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

La vecchia gestione ha ceduto e dopo aver frequentato per anni questo albergo posso assicurare che una volta messo piede in questa struttura ogni giorno diventa sempre più un incubo. Decisamente in un ambiente simile non torneremo mai più. Personale improvvisato e maleducato, la gestione è totalmente caotica. Si percepisce tensione tra il personale che va lamentandosi con tutti i clienti di tutto il caos che é costretto a subire e tutto ciò si riversa sul cliente che è lì per rilassarsi. Al mio cane anziano é scappato un bisognino su un tappeto e il barista in una scena madre ci ha assegnato la spesa di 500 euro per il lavaggio. Sono stata vittima di una aggressione verbale con minacce sgradevoli dalla figlia del proprietario che si aggira in questi luoghi con fare isterico. Durante una passeggiata belle stradine dell'albergo sono stata aggredita da un giovane senza motivo. Questo bellisismo luogo é pregno di tensione, si è svuotato quasi del tutto della vecchia clientela a causa della maleducazione nel servizio: sono rimasti solo pochissimi clienti storici, ormai isolati e rari, in mezzo a facce completamente discutibili.
​In pratica, il target è cambiato quasi radicalmente.
Trovo peggiorato tutto a Sant'Angelo di Ischia. Mi dispiace. Da film dell'orrore.

Be careful at Miramare Sea Resort. The breakfast and the views were good but Maria at the check in desk tried to charge me an extra 750 euros for the unobstructed sea view room that I prepaid for saying the obstructed sea view room go to guests that book with an online travel agency. The manager, Marco lowered the price to 308 extra. I call my OTA who called the hotel and got the fee removed saying hotels agree that guests will not be treated unfairly based on how we make a reservation. Miramare needs to be downgraded from a 5 star hotel to a 3 star hotel due to below average service and below average quality for everything. The rooms are small. The furniture is cheap IKEA quality. Many items were past their useful life and needed to be replaced.

Siamo arrivati il 1° maggio e già dall’inizio l’esperienza è stata deludente: abbiamo dovuto aspettare 30/40 minuti prima di poter entrare in camera, senza alcuna organizzazione o spiegazione adeguata. Il parco termale era appena stato aperto e la piscina risultava praticamente inutilizzabile, con acqua torbida e melmosa — chiaramente non era stata ancora filtrata o trattata correttamente.

In camera, l’acqua calda non funzionava. Lo abbiamo segnalato più volte alla reception, ma senza risultati immediati. Il problema è stato sistemato alla meglio solo il giorno successivo, causando un disagio notevole.

Per finire, il servizio pranzo è stato pessimo: abbiamo aspettato ben 2 ore per una semplice bruschetta al pomodoro. Addebitandoci al check out anche due spritz mai bevuti. Un’esperienza decisamente negativa sotto tutti i punti di vista. Non torneremo.

Esperienza molto negativa. Arrivati il 1° maggio, abbiamo atteso circa 40 minuti prima che ci venisse assegnata la camera, segno evidente di una gestione poco efficiente.

Il parco termale era appena aperto e in condizioni inaccettabili: piscina con acqua sporca e non utilizzabile, probabilmente aperta senza il necessario riciclo e trattamento.

In camera mancava completamente l’acqua calda. Abbiamo avvisato più volte la reception, ma il problema è stato ignorato fino al giorno dopo, quando è stato risolto in modo approssimativo. Ma è un problema che si trascina da tempo e mai risolto. (letto nelle altre recensioni).

Anche il servizio ristorazione è stato disastroso: oltre 2 ore di attesa per una bruschetta al pomodoro e due piatti di pasta sono semplicemente ingiustificabili. Struttura con grandi potenzialità ma gestita MALE e senza cortesia.
La prima volta che entro in un albergo da 4 stelle in su senza ascensore.
Mancano tutti i servizi essenziali per avere 5 stelle.
Al momento del conto non è stato fatto nessun gesto o intervento per alleviare questa situazione, anzi ci hanno addebitato delle consumazioni mai fatte.

Sconsigliato per chi ha alti standard qualitativi.
